Lisa Stubblefield

Born and raised in Ogden, Utah with her mom, dad and five brothers, she sang at the piano while her mother played.
She learned to play the cello in elementary school and the clarinet throughout junior high and high school.
In later years, while employed in the Alaska oil field, Lisa developed an interest in learning to play the guitar while spending her evenings listening to the jam sessions in the lobby. At the age of 33, a friend gave her a guitar, showed her a few cords and she was soon joining the evening jam sessions and performing for dances and parties.
After moving back to Utah, Lisa joined the Western Music Association, and was one of the first members of the Utah Chapter where she served as the secretary for 5 years.
Lisa’s musical accomplishments include: piano, six-string and twelve string guitar and has written a few of her own songs. Her greatest influences in music were Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins and watching the cowboys on the silver screen.
Her hobbies are camping, riding, roping, and training horses. She loves the gratifying feeling and challenge of playing with the mustangs.
